Kim Stolow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in North Brunswick, NJ.
With over 10 years of experience, Kim's practice is centered on working with children (ages 8 and older), adolescents (and their families), and adults. She has experience providing individual, group, and couples counseling. Kim has a specialization in child abuse (specifically child sexual abuse), grief and loss, and trauma. She also works with adult survivors and non-offending parents. In addition, Kim works with clients who present with a variety of struggles including: depression, anxiety, parenting skills, and school difficulties. Ms. Stolow utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities [including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (including Trauma Focused CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, and Systems approach] to achieve all desired treatment goals and uses a collaborative approach that includes all relevant systems.
In addition to being a private therapist, Kim has presented at numerous conferences on the topics of child sexual abuse, non-offending parents and vicarious trauma. She is in the process of creating a training curriculum on the topic of child sexual abuse that will be utilized by the NJ child welfare system.

She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
